I have experience and comfort conducting user research, crafting personas, drafting wireframes and other essential UX tools. I love the journey involved in empathizing and deeply understanding my user’s pain points and iterating until I am on the path to a solution. My first career as an artist has given me years of design thinking and creative problem solving experience as well as the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously, on very tight deadlines without compromising quality or attention to detail. Working with clients as a freelance artist also taught me many valuable lessons in putting my client first and doing everything I can to execute their vision as best as I can, while remaining realistic about timing, budget and the limits of what is possible. 

Whether I’m building a huge window installation or creating user flows, I instinctively know the right approach to take for the project, what tools are needed for the task at hand and understand their advantages and limitations. All my work has involved working with others; from helping a client figure out what they actually want for an embroidery commission to collaborating as a team to create something that requires varied talents.

I want to share my research and design skills with companies and industries that seek to do good, put their users first and are motivated by improving lives through simple, good design.
